HEAVY MELTING SCRAP

Heavy melting scrap is a designation for recyclable steel and wrought iron. It is broken up into two major categories: HMS 1 and HMS 2, where HMS 1 does not contain galvanized and blackened steel, whereas HMS 2 does.

PLATES AND STRUCTURES

Plate and structural scrap, often referred to as P&S in the scrap industry, is a cut grade of ferrous scrap, presumed to be free of any contaminates.

SHREDDED SCRAP

The pieces of ferrous scrap produced by shredders, often from shredded vehicles and appliances. The fist-sized chunks are transportable and saleable as a commodity

BUSHELLING BUNDLES

Busheling is clean steel scrap, not exceeding 12 inches in any dimensions, including new factory busheling (for example, sheet clippings, stampings, etc.). It may not include old auto body and fender stock.

LIGHT MELTING SCRAP

Light melting scrap also known as LMS. Light melting scrap where density is considerably lesser than compared to HMS (Heavy melting scrap).

BLUE STEEL

It is made from discarded or steel products that are extremely durable and long-lasting. The blue steel scrap can retain their natural qualities no matter how many times they are recycled, thus constructing long lasting structures.

6061

Scrap 6061 is a lightweight aluminum alloy that is the second most valuable grade of aluminum extrusion scrap. It can be found in the chassis of bicycles, airplanes, automobiles, boats, trucks, railway and subway cars, vehicle panels, and other automobile parts.

ALLOY WHEEL

Alloy wheel scrap is a combination of different metals that can be sold for scrap. Alloy wheels are made of many different metals, including aluminum and magnesium. They can be sold for scrap like any other part of a car.

COIL

Aluminum coils are corrosion resistant, recyclable, and good conductors of electricity and heat. They can be produced more efficiently and inexpensively than other metal coil varieties.

EV CHIPS

Electronic scrap includes small chips that contain precious metals, transistors, and quartz crystals. The chips must not contain any components larger than a thumb, such as heat sinks, transformers, or capacitors.

EXTRUSION 6063

6063 is an aluminum alloy that’s commonly used for extrusion. It’s made of magnesium and silicon. 6063 is often called architectural aluminum because it has a smooth surface finish and is less strong than other aluminum alloys.

RADIATOR

Radiator scrap is a common type of scrap metal that comes from automotive and industrial applications.

TENSE

Tense scrap is a mixture of aluminum, copper, and other metals. It’s made up of castings from automobiles and airplanes. Tense scrap is free of steel or rubber attachments. It also doesn’t contain ingots, non-metallic items, dirt, iron, or brass. The grease and oil content should not exceed 2%.

TT

TT scrap is a type of aluminum scrap. It’s made up of Clean, old alloy aluminum sheet or two or more alloys.

UBC

UBC scrap is aluminum used beverage can (UBC) scrap. UBCs are packaging containers made primarily of aluminum. They are used to package carbonated soft drinks, fruit and vegetable juice, tea, sports drinks, and beer.
